Here are a few case studies of recent old vintage projects.

Discovery and Content Strategy

Laying the Groundwork for Success

I believe the best design solutions begin when stakeholders understand the entire landscape of a problem, so I begin each project by seeking to understand user needs, user behavior, business goals and technical constraints. Once a team aligns around these items, design can begin.

Tools I might use in this phase: Secondary research, primary research, client workshops, experience maps, personas. user journey diagrams, task maps, card sorts, site maps, analytics reports

Design and Prototype

bringing solutions to life

Time to solve some problems and make stuff. I begin this phase of a project with low fidelity, mobile-first sketches and increase the fidelity as needed.

Tools I might use in this phase: Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Invision, Proto.io, Paper & Pen, Keynote

Test, Iterate and Support

DATA LED IMPROVEMENTS

Depending on available timing or budget I test design prototypes with an audience representing the end-user base. Based on findings and how the project is set up, I would then iterate designs and deliver assets to the development team.

Tools I might use in this phase: Mr. Tappy, video recording, moderation scripts, hallway testing, findings reports. annotated wireframes.

Here are a few examples of deliverables that I've designed or initiated on past projects.
